Last week, before coming to the Western Gypsy Gathering, Alice and I spent a delightful hour being interviewed by RV Joey on RV TIME Radio. Joey is always a fun to talk to and an excellent interviewer.
We talked about how to keep your expenses down on the road and/or supplement your income. If RVers want to work or volunteer on the road, there are many different choices. At the recent Workamper Job Fairs we had amusement parks, employers in national parks, travel sales positions, and even two circuses! And of course RV parks and campgrounds need help too.
Many RVers are dealing with high fuel prices by traveling shorter distances. RV Joey pointed out that there are many wonderful places to camp within 50-100 miles of where he lives. He asked if high fuel prices were scaring away potential RVers. We had to answer, one of the great things about this lifestyle is you have so much control. You can control your budget and keep costs down.
You can listen to our interview online at RV Time Radio.
