George and I just tried out a Space Bag. I was amazed at how it works and how perfect it is for RVers. To test, I chose a comforter that I store in a bag another blanket or comforter came in. Here is is loose near that bag and then me wrestling the zipper closed into that original bag.
The package of Space Bags we received had two large bags and two medium ones. Once you put something in the bag, you can either roll the air out or suck it out with a vacuum through the one-way valve. The bag seemed almost flimsy but even though I had to work to get the comforter in, the bag and seams held. It is strong!
It compressed that comforter right down! You can see how much less space it takes to store it in the new Space Bag.
A package comes with two large and two medium size bags. They have other products at their website to choose from, including some for packing items in your suitcase more efficiently, or you can purchase these bags singly.
RVers can use Space Bags to:
- Pack away blankets, linens, or out-of-season clothes until you need them. The bags are reusable so you can exchange contents or repack them later. They will take a fraction of the space.
- Protect belongings from elements- dust, pests, moisture, odors.
- Store and protect important documents like passports or financial statements from water damage.
If you join the Space Savers Community, you will receive 20 percent off a space-saving package, including six Space Bag Dual-Use Bags and three Space Bag High Capacity Cubes. The Community, which is free, provides tips, product information and special discounts.

I liked them on Facebook.
Jaimie, do you have any idea what the life span of the Space Bags are? I had used a similar product years ago & they eventually didn't work after opening and sealing them several times. Sure would be a space saver in the MH. (This could be a good thing or a bad thing, I just realized as I was typing that!!)
Always enjoy reading your newsletters, etc.

Char- I'm not sure what the life span is. We were sent a sample recently so haven't tried to reuse them.
I'm glad the newsletters are helpful!

I liked on Facebook. I would use the space saver to store my heavy bedspread. This way I could store it in the RV and pull it out if I should have company and want my bed to look nice. Otherwise I store it at home and do not have access to it when I want it when I am on the road. Space savers are a most for RVers.
