We made it to Driggs, ID. Lots of road construction again and tons of smoke. Several large wildfires are burning in Idaho and one just south of Jackson, WY.
In Maine we saw just a few leaves changing but nothing spectacular yet. Too early. Beginning in Utah, we were treated to many beautiful scenes. First from UT along Highway 189 plus colorful tilted rocks along I-80.
Turning leaves along Hwy 89 in Idaho.
Rafters coming down the Snake River between Jackson and Afton. What a perfect day for this. And, on the road between Jackson and Driggs- RVs should avoid this road!
Headed to West Yellowstone today. Hope to meet up with Buffaloman and Buffalo Gal who are working there. Jaimie Hall Bruzenak

We definitely saw the haze from the Wyoming fires in Colorado this year. . .made the Rocky Mountains look like the Smokies. . .
Tell Joan and Paul that Janice and Dave say hello. . .we enjoyed getting to know them when we worked in West Yellowstone a couple of years ago. . .a great little town. . .enjoy!

We saw Paul and Joan- but hadn't seen your comment in time. They looked great and we had a nice short visit. Wish we could have spent more time with them.
There are so many fires.
