If I remember, I turn it off. That's usually when I have a long day ahead. Most of the time, I forget.

If it's a new habit, it takes a while to incorporate it in your routine. I do think it's safer.

I always make sure I turn it off. Leaving it ON can not only cause damage also lead to the wastage of propane. Propane is a useful thing and it should be used with caution to ensure that there is no wastage of propane.

my fridge stays lit up to about 70 mph

Jaimie Hall Bruzenak

Thanks, Wayne. However, is it safe to travel with it on? If you were in an accident, you'd have volatile propane gas in the RV. If the tank is turned off, you minimize that risk.
